The story is a personal expose written by Alana Aspen who is an actor and mother. She courageously sheds light on her experience with PPD mixed with experiences of other women in her life. The goal of this film is to raise awareness for mothers and fathers and anyone considering pregnancy. PPD is a topic that the film industry tends to tread lightly over, but BAD MOM dives in deep without making the experience palatable, just raw and honest storytelling. By partnering with organizations focused on motherhood and women's health we hope this little film eventually gets to as many people as possible to spark some change around the stigma of PPD.
